Crawlability

What is Crawlability?

Crawlability means bots can find links to your important pages, retrieve them without excessive errors, and not get trapped in crawl traps or infinite URL patterns.

Example: If key product pages are only linked via JavaScript with no crawlable paths—or blocked unintentionally in robots.txt—Google may never see them, so they cannot rank.

Why Crawlability matters

Crawlability matters because search engines can’t rank what they can’t reliably fetch or parse. Technical barriers silently cap organic potential even when content quality is high.

How Crawlability works in digital marketing

Audit internal links, XML sitemaps, robots rules, redirects, and server responses; fix 5xx errors and orphan pages so crawlers can reach what you want indexed.
