Paid Media

What is Paid Media?

Paid media is any placement you purchase—search ads, social ads, display, sponsorships—contrasted with earned (PR) and owned (site, email).

Example: A launch allocates budget to Meta conversion campaigns plus Google Search on brand and category terms simultaneously.

Why Paid Media matters

Paid media matters because it scales reach and testing quickly; without it, many brands can’t enter categories fast enough—if unit economics and measurement are disciplined.
